The blokes behind Get Curried

two Aussie fellas + an Indian-born Chef = The recipe for success!

Mike Fuller, director, Get Curried Indian Restaurant
Mike Fuller – Director

Mike is a highly respected and sought after expert in franchising. With a background in sales and finance, he joined Australian franchise Cartridge World in 2002 to launch the brand into the tough US market. Unprecedented sales there generated an overwhelming demand for the brand from other countries. In response Mike set up an international master franchisee training program in Adelaide in 2003 and worked to appoint and train more than 30 master franchisees from all over the world. Mike saw Cartridge World grow from a handful of stores in Australia to a global franchise network of over 1500 stores in more than 22 countries. After years of travelling to and doing business with India, Mike has learnt what makes a good curry and what Australian taste-buds want.

Mike’s knowledge of franchising — particularly international markets and cultures — is highly regarded. He has partnered with other knowledgeable and expert providers to develop several other highly successful and profitable franchise systems through his franchise development company Mega 7. What Mike doesn’t know about franchising isn’t worth knowing …  he is also a dab-hand with a cricket bat and ball.

Greg Dunn, director, Get Curried Indian Restaurant
Greg Dunn – Director

Greg and Mike’s association goes way back to when they were both in sales in the financial services industry. Greg spent 22 years in this industry and was involved in the building, development and sales of Financial and Life Protection products. This experience and the longevity of his career in this sector is testament to his customer service skills and his ability to interpret client’s needs into the right product mix.

Greg turned his hand to tourism, turning a flagging, old-fashioned caravan park into a highly successful and flourishing tourist/holiday and residential park on the Fleurieu Peninsula. This 23 year labour of love has seen Greg serve as a member on the Fleurieu Region Tourism board and Vice President of the SA Parks Board and is a sought-after member of management committees.

Greg and Mike re-partnered in 2013 to become Directors and Master Franchisees in Specky Events – an AFL themed inflatable amusement company that is present at most AFL home fixtures at Adelaide Oval – and is involved with other franchise developments and franchise sales across Australia.
